Wow, today I completed my CN Tower climb. It was amazing, so many people all climbing.
Start of day - 4:30AM; wake up, eat
5:30AM; Got to meeting place (we car pooled)
6:30AM; Base of tower, find out that we need to go to the skywalk to register
7:44:36; Base of stair case, registration was well organized mehem. (Were talking 300 volunteers to like 50k contestants)
8:03:38; Top (19:02 mins later), after an amazing use of my heart I make it up. I now feel so fit (though sorta am) because I never needed to stop. I ran/hiked/jogged/walked this like the 1200m, you could at times go up by x2’s but usually you needed to go up by x1’s (1 steps)
8:30AM; I received my official contestant shirt, with my well appreciated 19:02 clearly listed!
10:00AM; Back in bed :)
This was made possible by all the volunteers (like beth!) who helped WWF. I went with a group from my school, Eco-serve, we all enjoyed and plan on going back next year.

Hey got a Facebook? It was a common question that I had been asked many a time, untill recently I would have replied that they were just facebook addicts. But now this isn’t the case, I too have joined in the social networking of my local community, which is still such a waste of time, but now all my friends enjoy it.

Ya so If your from Rsbandb.com, JOIN Rsbandb @ facebook already!

While I was camping this weekend.. I stopped along my trip to pay my respects at the graveside of my grandfather.. I took a couple moments to remember and honor him..

My grandfather died a poor man.. but the week we laid him to rest.. our family was blessed to received WELL over 500 visitors.. there was a line of people waiting in front of the funeral home that stretched down the street.. simply to tell us that they were sorry for our loss..

They came to tell us about a moment they had shared with him that made them smile.. they came to tell us about a time that he had helped them or touched their lives for the better.. they came to tell us that he had impacted them in a way that would not be forgotten.. they came to tell us that they were sorry to see his humble light fade from the earth..

What struck me was that a poor man had had that many friends and that close of a family. A poor man, had made that much of a difference to the lives of the people around him. A poor man, had done what was right his whole life.. and in so doing, had set an example that others strove to follow..

My grandfather taught me that relationships are more important than money or power.. he taught me that those connections with other people will outlive you.. he taught me that a single man.. can make a difference.. he taught me to care.

Thank you grandpa.

Others will see the light and follow.

Why are people today too busy to care anymore :?
